On a walk from St Ives to Gwithian Towans I took a short break at the pub opposite Philps Pasties, in Hayle. I’d been walking for about 3 hours so felt I deserved a swift half. Next stop, across the road for an opportunity for some serious bingeing on a superior beef pasty.
