On the practice area at Rowlands Castle GC a number of balls have become embedded in the earth with only a tiny proportion visible. I tried to retrieve the ball with a tee but no luck. Next time I’ll try a pitch mark repair tool. And I might wait until there’s been some rain… and when no one else is practising.
