I recently met with ex colleague Andy (Biggles) Anderson for a belated retirement drink. Since he was the contributor of Sand Box and Sympathy Bonk I presented him with a copy of the book. It was only when I’d wrapped it in this paper that I realised I was missing stripey blue. The alternative spelling is stripy blue but we had a cat called Stripey and that’s how I’ve always spelt it.
During the evening Andy, Angus and Mike came up with a few more entries: sugarless beverage ( to describe Pepsi Max ), sex bomb ( Tom Jones song ), sock burden and sore bunion.
