Prompt

Spelling bee. A pencil drawing of bees positioned on the surface of a honeycomb spelling out the letters S and B. The image should be coloured in with water colour

Revised prompt

Create an image of a scene that takes place within a hive. Bees, intricately detailed in a pencil drawing style, are cleverly positioned on the surface of a honeycomb to spell out the letters ‘S’ and ‘B’. They are beautifully rendered in watercolor, each one a study of black and yellow hues. Their reflective, golden honeycomb serves as a unique backdrop, also painted with watercolors. Make sure to include the distinct hexagonal structures in rich honey hues, contrasting with the bees’ colours to make the letters stand out.

Notes

  • I haven’t yet learnt how to get the image generator to not show the medium in which the image has been created.
  • Had I been able to then it would have had a bit more time to give each bee the requisite number of wings.
  • Notice the 2 pencils with the metal ferrule for the rubber at the sharp end

I tried again with a modified prompt

drawing of bees positioned on the surface of a honeycomb spelling out the letters S and B. The image should be coloured in with water colour

which became

Create a detailed watercolour image of bees strategically positioned on the surface of a honeycomb. The bees should be arranged in such a way that they form the letters ‘S’ and ‘B’. The colours should capture the natural golden tones of the honeycomb and the dark, intricate patterns of the bees.

I got an “S bee” being attended to by an 8 legged bee.
