Both my sister Kate and my brother in law Greg went to a boarding school, just north of Petersfield, called Bedales. Therefore they are schooled bedalians.
What I remember most about Bedales was the school concert which was held in the Autumn. Before the concert I’d play in the grounds and collect hundreds of conkers from the chestnut trees. I no longer need to do this. Next door has two chestnut trees at the front of the house. We use the conkers to keep spiders away.
There are quite a few famous Bedalians, including a couple of SB’s: Sebastian Berne, Stephen Bone, Sadie Bonnell
